SAJE is
Social • Emotional • Academic • Support
A program that was specifically designed to bring self-awareness, psychoeducation, practical and proven strategies and techniques to adults, teens and children who struggle with Attention Deficit and/or executive functions.
SAJE was created through the lens of a mental health professional. Debbie Disney LCSW-C’s decades of experience in public and private schools systems, and as a psychotherapist in private practice started the wheels turning. Recognizing the need for a program that was specifically designed to bring self-awareness, psychoeducation, practical and proven strategies and techniques to adults, teens and children who struggle with Attention Deficit and/or executive functions, Debbie sought team members who understood her vision. Collaborating with seasoned educators, learning specialists, school administrators, and innovators in technology, the foundation for SAJE was formed. Innovative technology, evidenced based cognitively focused curriculum, explorative and creative interventions were combined to create a resource for adults, students, parents, educators, administrators, mental health professionals, medical providers, grandparents, partners. Anyone and everyone seeking guidance when lack of attention, focus or difficulties managing life skills cause distress to themselves or others.
A comprehensive support program for individuals who know they are smart, but feel “dumb”… who identify as, or have been identified as “lazy, unmotivated, ‘weird’…” who get exhausted just thinking about all of the tasks on their “to do” lists… who dread Monday mornings….

PS. We are often asked what SAJE stands for. Simple enough; those letters are the first intials of Debbie’s children and grandchildren (at least until the last 2 grandchildren were born).
